Victorville, Calif. - Gourmet cupcakes and delectable sweet treats are in high demand as cable TV shows like Cupcake Wars and Cake Boss flood our air waves. Patrons in the Victor Valley no longer have to live vicariously through reporters on the Food Network, and can finally experience for themselves why these unique treats are all the rage. Coldwell Banker Commercial Vice President, Colleen Butcher, has recently completed a transaction to bring a first time business owner to Victorville.

Owner and Pastry Chef, Margarita Venoya is excited to open M Cupcakes n Pastries after years of creating and perfecting new recipes and inventive desserts. Venoya recently signed the deal to open her doors in Victorville at the Desert Plazas on Roy Rogers. Hoping to be fully functioning by the end of summer, the new business owner is moving swiftly to bring together her long time dream.
Butcher truly incorporated her business and real estate expertise when it came to finding Margarita Venoya the perfect location. Always having her client’s best interest in mind, Butcher guided Venoya and her husband through the process of starting their first business.

M Cupcakes n Pastries will be conveniently located in the Civic Center near the Victorville Court House, car dealerships, the City of Victorville City Hall and other major businesses. M Cupcakes n Pastries will offer a large selection of pastries, cupcakes, custom ordered cakes and more, and will be catering to office meetings and other gatherings.

Venoya discovered her passion for baking while concocting scrumptious treats at home for her children. “I realized baking was my calling while at home with my children. I challenged myself by creating new recipes and putting different spins on classics. That’s when I decided to make it official and receive extensive training in the industry,” stated Venoya.

Venoya graduated from the Patisserie and Baking Program at Le Cordon Bleu in 2009 with highest honors. Venoya has mentioned that her biggest critics are her children, who test each and every recipe. For feedback, Venoya turned to her family and neighborhood friends who had the pleasure of testing her baked goods, allowing her to perfect her menu.
