SANBAG - Inland Empire Quarterly Economic Report Highlights - 2009

Out of the Inland Empire's 48 cities, Victorville ranked 5th in population growth rate (4.9%) and 18th in the state.

Victorville ranked 3rd in the Inland Empire in absolute growth, 12th in the state with absolute growth of 5,059.

The California BOE reported 2007 retail volume in Victorville of 2.02 billion. 
Apple valley had low sales of $429 million ranked 30th in sales even though it ranks 19th in population. Barstow outperformed Apple Valley with $606 million. 
The Victor valley led in new home market volume (285) and had the smallest percentage decline (-30%).
